Southwestern Nova Scotia Forestry Expo

“Walk the Forest. Meet the Industry. Discover Your Future.
The Southwestern Nova Scotia Forestry Expo is designed to showcase forestry as a connected industry rather than a collection of individual businesses. Visitors will experience the journey of the forest from stewardship and management through silviculture, harvesting, transportation, manufacturing, and the products we use every day while meeting the people and businesses that make each stage possible. Bringing together employers, educators, industry organizations, government and workforce partners, the Expo will demonstrate the wide range of careers and opportunities available throughout the forestry sector.
By creating a space where students, job seekers and the public can engage directly with the industry, the event aims to spark curiosity, build meaningful connections and inspire future careers.
Equally important, it provides a rare opportunity for the forestry community to come together, celebrate the strength of the sector, and demonstrate the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for forestry to continue to grow and flourish in Nova Scotia.”
