3:00 – MAHOGANY HOLLOW
STEWART FRANK is a bit of a legend in the south shore music scene, especially for us! We try to keep our line up new from year to year but we just had to have Stewart back for a second year in a row. You can catch Stewart performing classics and original songs all over the south shore of Nova Scotia as a solo performer and with bands. He’s one of our favorite performers. Check out Stewart Franck Music anytime you hear of him playing near you.
AUTUMN MACKAY is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, known for her haunting vocals, exceptional musicianship, and profound lyrics. A passionate music writer from a young age, she has created hundreds of original songs. Born and raised in the Maritimes, Autumn’s music is deeply influenced by the unique culture and rich Folk history of Nova Scotia. Her sound blends traditional folk elements with her own contemporary touch, capturing the essence of her roots while creating a distinct, modern style. With a natural talent for storytelling, her songs resonate emotionally, drawing listeners into her world of introspective reflections and heartfelt melodies.
MATELYN LEVY is an Indie-Folk musician from Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, Canada. She studies Voice and Songwriting at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Inspired by artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, Clairo, and Adrianne Lenker, Matelyn has been writing songs since she was 15 years old. Accompanied by just an acoustic guitar that she taught herself to play, Matelyn writes emotional lyrics about love, heartbreak, and the female experience. You can find her on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube under @matelynlevy to follow along for upcoming projects and releases.
MAHOGANY HOLLOW is a folk duo hailing from the Halifax, Nova Scotia. The duo weaves melodic tales that echo the spirit of the Maritimes. Formed by Tyler Cox and David Bradshaw, the duo bonded over their love for traditional folk music. Mahogany Hollow’s harmonious blend of acoustic melodies and heartfelt lyrics has led them to #4 on The East Coast Top Thirty with their single “I Won’t Run”. With roots firmly planted in the folk tradition, their music pays homage to the rich cultural heritage of Nova Scotia while also embracing a contemporary sound that resonates with listeners of all ages.
